AI governance
Examine an agent’s permissions and your organisation’s responsibilities. VOCE frameworks specify the evidence needed to evaluate a system and reassess it as it changes.
VOCE studies the systems reshaping human life, from artificial intelligence to health and culture. Explore sourced research in Academy and use our governance frameworks to examine agent risks and responsibilities.
Ask a question in your own words. The Guide searches the VOCE corpus and links its answer to the supporting documents. You can also enter through a research pathway below.
Each pathway connects technical mechanisms to their effects on organisations and human life. Start with the subject relevant to your work.

Sovereignty as the ability to choose, combine, replace and revoke technologies across the cognitive supply chain: compute, cloud, models, data, energy, cybersecurity, talent and orchestration.
How agents, software automation and robotics change the relationship between output and payroll, and why the disappearance of junior tasks can also weaken the apprenticeship that creates future experts.
Attention, parent-child interaction, language, inner thought, cognitive offloading, social validation and the progressive transfer of memory, choice and anticipation to digital systems.
The standard is closer to an institutional research note than to commentary: identify the mechanism, expose the architecture, distinguish evidence from inference, and follow the consequence until it reaches people, organisations and culture.
“Verum ipsum factum.” What we build should remain intelligible to those who are responsible for it.Giambattista Vico · a VOCE counterpoint on systems and responsibility
A conceptual framework examining continuous digital input, internal dialogue, reflection and sustained thought.
DOI 10.5281/zenodo.19189281An integrative review of digital interruption, parent-child interaction and early language acquisition.
DOI 10.5281/zenodo.19114381A confidential cultural interface for works and artefacts whose circulation requires documentary discipline, context and carefully controlled introductions.
VOCE’s scientific committee and expert network bring together practitioners working across technology, psychiatry, culture, art, foundations and institutions. Their vantage points are located in the environments themselves, not at a distance from them.
Paris and London bring institutional, financial and cultural depth. Dubai places VOCE inside a Gulf ecosystem where infrastructure, capital and technology adoption move at a different speed. Hangzhou, Shanghai and Hong Kong expose distinct Chinese systems of platforms, commerce, industry, finance and innovation. The purpose is not to celebrate one model, but to understand how different architectures produce different capabilities and risks.
VOCE is an independent French non-profit association based in Paris and connected to expert ecosystems in London, Dubai and China. It develops research, scientific and cultural mediation, public education and editorial intelligence.
Opera gives VOCE part of its method. Several voices can occupy the same scene without becoming the same voice. Scientific evidence, technical architecture, clinical experience, institutional practice and culture are allowed to remain distinct before they are interpreted together.
