The world, a user manual.

Explore VOCE courses at your own pace, from artificial intelligence to health and culture. Each module offers a concrete objective, an exercise and references to deepen your understanding and sharpen your judgement.

VOCE’s patronage draws on the legacy of the Medici: supporting creativity and sharing knowledge. The association offers these short courses free of charge. In-depth training will be provided through a separate paid offer.

This English edition contains the 16 historical written courses. The French catalogue also lists 104 introductory capsules in development; those capsules are not yet translated. Independent scientific review and educational pilots remain pending.

Read the explanation

Welcome to VOCE courses. Choose a course from the catalogue: it will open on a dedicated page. Read the objective and the explanation, then work on the proposed case before opening the answer. Each course contains fewer than five thousand characters, along with its references. You can follow the ten steps of the first track, or start with the subject useful to your company. For training centres, the evaluation criteria indicate what the participant must be able to do. The themes of the future Campus are presented separately from the courses already available. They will also cover gigafactories, robotics, and the light workforce.

Track 01 / Ten written courses

Deploy and supervise an AI system at work

Follow the track in order to build a system profile, or choose the course related to your needs. Each link opens a dedicated course page.

D01 / SYSTEM

A model is not enough to make a service work

distinguish the model from the components that allow the service to consult information and act.

D02 / PERMISSIONS

Who gives their rights to an agent?

define the access necessary for a task and distinguish between technical access and business authorization.

10 to 12 min including the exerciseRead the course
D03 / PROOF

What proof should be requested before authorizing an action?

transform a general statement into a verification adapted to a specific use.

10 to 12 min including the exerciseRead the course
D04 / CHANGE

The agent changes: what needs to be re-verified?

link a modification to the controls it may affect.

D05 / COST

How much does a truly completed task cost?

calculate an operational cost per accepted case, with an explicit scope.

10 to 12 min including the exerciseRead the course
D06 / LEARNING

If AI handles simple cases, how do you train juniors?

maintain an activity that develops a useful professional skill.

D07 / ASSISTANCE

At what point should assistance be authorized?

organize access to the tool according to the skill the activity seeks to develop.

D08 / SUPERVISION

Is clicking "approve" enough to supervise?

design an approval that allows for a real examination of the proposed action.

D09 / CONTINUITY

What must be known to resume without the tool?

identify a minimum continuity capability and verify it in an exercise.

Six VOCE creations / Chinese programs

Read about the systems taught in China

Six original courses, written for VOCE and published exclusively on Academy, use documented Chinese programs as starting points. Exclusivity refers to these VOCE pedagogical contents; it does not refer to an agreement with universities nor the absence of comparable subjects elsewhere.

VOCE Campus / Development program

Funders and training centres

A demonstrator that you can examine

The first track presents ten observable objectives, written courses, and reasoned answers. Each course indicates an evaluation criterion and a production to be kept.

A center can use it for autonomous reading with guided correction, then adapt the situations to its participants' professions.

Verify acquired skills

Before the track, collect a justified decision on a case. After the track, propose a different case of comparable difficulty. A deferred exercise allows for examining reuse.

Pedagogical results will be documented during a pilot. The demonstrator does not claim any external certification.
